Veterans Line is a national after-hours crisis counselling service, which complements the Veterans and Veterans Families Counselling Service. Those eligible for the service include: Australian service personnel from all wars and conflicts: WWII, Malaya, Korea, Vietnam, Gulf War, Rwanda, Peacekeepers.
Eligibility extends to immediate family members experiencing social/psychological distress as a consequence of the veterans period of service as follows: wives/partners, ex-wives/ex-partners (five years), war widows, children of Vietnam veterans (any age) and children of other veterans up to the age of 26 years.
