The Suicide Call Back Service is a free nationwide telephone support service staffed by real people with professional qualifications.
The Suicide Call Back Service supports callers through a series of six structured 50 minute telephone counselling sessions, scheduled according to the person's needs. It operates twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. Professional counsellors, with specialist skills in working with suicide-related issues, assist clients to work through difficult emotions.

- People at risk of suicide
The Suicide Call Back Service is available around the clock, every day of the year to provide vital support to people who are feeling at risk of suicide.
- People who are caring for someone who is suicidal
Our counsellors offer expert support and information to people who are caring for someone at risk of suicide, or worried that someone they know could be at risk. We can offer practical strategies on how to keep them safe, and how to look after yourself too.
- People who have lost someone to suicide
Loosing someone to suicide can have long and lasting effects. No matter how much time has passed since your loss, our counsellors are here to provide professional counselling and bereavement support.
- Professionals who support suicidal clients
Supporting someone who is suicidal in a professional capacity can be difficult. The Suicide Call Back Service offers health professionals, community workers and volunteers help with peer support services, including referrals, debriefing, and counselling.
The Suicide Call Back Service is especially suited to people who are geographically or emotionally isolated.
